About this page & FAQ

This page follows ether (ETH) live against the bitcoin cycle, with the supply, burn and staking of ETH, network statistics and the ETH reserve of BitMine (BMNR).

Does Ethereum have a halving?

No. Ethereum has no halving and no maximum supply. This page shows the bitcoin halvings because the whole crypto market has so far tended to move with bitcoin's four-year cycle.

Why does the ETH supply sometimes shrink?

Since August 2021 the base fee of every transaction is burned. New ETH goes to stakers as a reward; when more ETH is burned than issued, the total supply falls.

What is staking?

Validators lock up ETH to secure the network and receive new ETH and fees in return. The staking yield shown on this page estimates that annual return.

What is BitMine (BMNR)?

BitMine Immersion Technologies is a listed company that has been building a large ETH reserve since 2025. The chart can show its share price next to ETH; that price comes from a Bybit perpetual contract that follows the share.

What is mNAV?

mNAV compares a company's stock market value with the value of the crypto it holds: market value (BMNR shares × share price) divided by the value of its ETH. Above 1× the market pays more than the coins are worth. On this page it is an estimate for BMNR.

Where does the data come from?

Live prices come from Binance, daily history from Coinbase, market data from CoinGecko, supply and burn from ultrasound.money, network data via PublicNode, the BMNR price from Bybit and sentiment from alternative.me. Your browser fetches everything directly. ETF flows come from SoSoValue.
